Welcome to Landscape Designs, Inc. (LDI). LDI is a 24 year old woman-owned, MBE and DBE certified landscape firm offering unique designs, garden installations, garden construction and professional project management. Our projects are concentrated in Alexandria, Arlington, NW DC and suburban Maryland, although we work in all areas of the Washington, DC metro area. We proudly offer unique resolutions to challenging landscapes and solutions that meet our clients' expectations and budgets.
Our creative designs are developed by award-winning, credentialed landscape designers and landscape architects. We produce four season-interest designs that will complement your space, and we give careful consideration to your budget and deadlines. We strive to integrate architecture and plant material, we preserve pre-existing site features whenever possible, and we designate site-appropriate plants based on our extensive knowledge of horticulture and exposure to the latest horticultural developments.
As a design/build firm, LDI offers you one-stop shopping. The conventional approach to landscaping involves designers, plant installers and hardscape construction contractors all working independently. As a client, you shoulder the burden of coordinating everyone’s schedules and making sure each phase of work is completed when promised, as promised. At LDI we have in-house designers, plant installers and hardscape installation teams. Since our firm handles every phase of your project, this allows for efficiencies in scheduling, communication and installation, and fewer headaches for you.
